DOMAIN & URL
Your URL must be user friendly and it should be short and keyword rich.
Try to acquire .com domain and ccTLD if targeting particular country
Search engines can understand connected words in URL
Avoid dash(-), underscores (_), numbers, abbreviations and words like best, top, unique, a, at,
the so on
Title Tag Start With Keyword
Your Title tag is one of the most important factor which decides your ON-Page SEO score.
Try to put your main keyword at the starting of your page title
Title should not exceed 60 words
Meta Description
Meta Description does not consider in SEO rank but it can increase your CTR (click through rate)
You can take it as ad copy of your page which is shown in SERPs (search engine result pages)
It should not exceed 159 character and you can use keywords in it.
Language
Use simple English and try to reach 70+ score in Flesch Reading Ease Score (FRES)
FIRST PARA
Your contents first para is very important for your reader and for search engine.
Try to include keyword in first para or in first 100 words
If you think getting backlinks is the only factor which boost your PR then think again.
Try to include outbound links in your post.
Outbound to high PR websites.
OUTBOUND LINKS
Add Multimedia
Search engine wont read images or videos so they are not very beneficial for you at first
ButImages and video can attract users and can reduce your bounce rate
Proper Use Of Heading Tags
Your webpage should have only One H1 tag.
You can have multiple H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6 tags.
Include keywords in your Heading tags.
Your structure should be logical, means H1 tags comes at top which will be followed by H2 and then H3 and so on.
Google and other search engine rank high those websites which loads fast and has less
blocking contents like JS, or iFrames
Speed Up your Page
Social Sharing Buttons• Social presence of your website is one of the key
factor for your SEO rank.• In a research its found that the websites which
has social sharing buttons can perform better on social websites and ultimately on search pages as well.
Content
Don’t forget CONTENT IS KING, make your content as deep as you can but not very long which be will boring for users.
Always write for HUMANS not for Search Engines
Frequency of Website Updates
If you are not updating your blog/website then you are not building audience.
Update your website on regular basis.
Search engines like long content website, so try to have 750-1000 words
PROPER USE 301 AND 302 REDIRECTS
301 Redirects means you had moved requested page permanently and search engine can index new page
While 302 Redirects means you had temporarily moved page and search engine can keep old page URL as you will be back on it soon
Fix your 404 errors and use 301 redirects or 302 redirects so users will find resource they are looking for.
INTERNAL LINKING
Internal linking means you are linking your old article in current page.
It can reduce your bounce rate and increase user engagement.
If possible use keyword rich anchor text to link your old contents
Add additional menus like Related Contents, Breadcrumb or sidebars.
