NEW THIS YEAR—ART CAMPS WITH TRINA!

World Wide Art – Famous artists have been around for thousands of years. Take a trip around the world and explore new countries and famous artists. Art projects will reflect what the kids have learned and the unique techniques of the countries they visit.

The Art of Nature—Nature, in a sense, is our greatest artist. All around us there is natural beauty to enjoy. This week of camp will be spent creating a connection with nature through art and experience.

THEME CAMPS

Around the World—Grab your passports and jump on board. We will travel to five different continents to explore cultures in all corners of the earth. Food, games, clothing, history, crafts and customs. Campers will visit Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and South America!

All Ball #1 – This camp will have a different ball game each day of the week. They will include, but not limited to – basketball, golf, flag football, kickball, handball, and croquet.

All Ball #2 –This camp will include, but not limited to wiffleball, soccer, vol-leyball, bocce ball, dodgeball, 4-square and tennis.

Olympic Games Camp – Help celebrate the Olympics by competing in your own mini ACES Olympics. Campers will learn the history of the Olympics, about famous Olympians and the sports that made them famous. We will have a mini competition at the end of the week with closing ceremonies.

STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math! This camp is full of building, exploring, chemistry, robotics, messy experiments and high flying rockets!

Grossology – Defined as the science of really gross stuff, this camp is not for those who have a strong gag reflex. All experiments, activities and concoc-tions are natural and borderline appropriate. Activities will include dissecting a frog and testing our local water purity.

Backyard Camping – We will actually set up camp at ACES, learn what to pack, set up a tent, what food to bring and about animals and fish. We will even throw in some survival techniques.

Wacky Water Week— How many things can you think of that involve water? We'll look at all aspects of water, including health, art, science, and recreation!

Under The Big Top—Come one, come all to the greatest camp on earth! Learn magic, funny tricks, learn about circus animals, clowning, and balloon tying. Campers will be invited to join ACES and participate in the annual 4th of July Parade. We must have at least 10 campers for the parade.

ACES' Got Talent – This is your chance to bring your talents to ACES! Who knows, you may have a hidden talent you do not know about! This is your chance to be an ACES STAR!

Hike/Bike – Hiking shoes, bicycle and bicycle helmet are a requirement. We will check out the local hikes, geocache and bike the River Road trail. You must be able to walk at least 3 miles to participate in this camp.

PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN CAMPS Each theme cams will include story time, arts and crafts, recreation, free play and a fun, hands on science experiment. We like to be flexible with this group and feel that social, emotional learning benefits them the best!

STEAM – All thing SCIENCE with a little art thrown in!

Enchanted Castles – Visit the land of princes, princesses, fairytales and villains.

Under the Big Top – Clowning, acrobatics, magic and more.

Land Before Time – Kids will become paleontologists for a week, dig-ging for bones and learning the dino ways.

Five Senses – Hearing, Seeing, Tasting, Touch and Smell – Children will explore it all.

Around the World – Children will visit different countries and learn about their way of life.

Community Counts! – What does your child want to be when they grow up? Children will learn about our public servants that keep us safe and secure.

Water Week - There will be lots of outdoor time here. Wear your

swimsuits we will be getting wet!

COLOR WARS— CAMP FAVORITE! This fun culmination of the summer is our most popular camp! Includes wacky sports, crazy games, art and knowledge competitions! Participation is mandatory so come with your team spirit and be ready to conquer the

challenges!
