Questionnaires

• In order to gain this information we decided to create a questionnaire for our target audience to feedback to us on how they found the documentary, radio trailer and double page spread. In all questionnaires we used closed questions so that we could analyse the results easier and quicker.

• We asked 10 people and the results were…

Page 3: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The voiceover is relevant to the topic and clear

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

As you can see from the results our audience feedback agreed with our statement

8- agree2- strongly agree

Page 4: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The sound levels are consistent and clear throughout the documentary

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Fairly mixed results which suggests that sound levels could have been improved as the voiceover could have been louder and music could have been quieter

3- strongly agree4-agree3- disagree

The Voxpops used are clear and relevant to the topic of the documentary

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Strongly agree- 4Agree- 6

As you can see our view-ers were happy with the Voxpops, which suggests that the questions we asked them were suitable to the documentary and clear

Page 9: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The music used has good sound levels

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

1- strongly agree5- agree2- strongly disagree2- disagree

Mixed results but sug-gests that the music may have been too loud resulting in it be-ing difficult for some to hear the interviews really clearly

Page 10: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The text is clear and can be read easily

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

6- strongly agree4- agree

This is positive feedback as shows they had enough time to read facts, and names of people interviewed. Also suggests that the font, colour and size were all easily read

Radio trailer analysis

• We also asked 10 people closed questions to see how they found our radio trailer.

• Here are the results…

Page 12: What have you learned from your audience feedback

I enjoyed the radio trailer

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

1- strongly agree4- agree1- strongly disagree4- disagree

Mixed results which could suggest that some people found the trailer a bit too long.

Page 13: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The radio trailer sounds professional

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

7 –agree3- strongly disagree

This suggests that the people may have liked the context of the trailer, as well a the music and trans-itions between clips

Page 14: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The music that is used has good sound levels and is relevant

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

This could suggest that the sound levels were too high res-ulting in the voiceover and other clips being hard to hear. However could suggest the music was relevant

Strongly agree-2Agree-3Strongly disagree-1Disagree-4

The snippets in the documentary were used effectively

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Strongly agree- 9Agree- 1

From this successful feedback I can analyse that maybe there was too much voiceover, as they enjoyed the snippets from the documentary

• We also asked 10 people closed questions to see how they found our double page spread.

• Here are the results…

Page 17: What have you learned from your audience feedback

This suggests that the majority of the people enjoyed the context of our magazine article.

Page 18: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The double page spread looks professional

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Agree- 1Strongly disagree-3Disagree-6

From this feedback I can ana-lyse that the target audience didn’t like the images that we used as well this they may have thought the layout was inad-equate and didn’t look profes-sional

Page 19: What have you learned from your audience feedback

There was an appropriate amount of text

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Strongly agree- 6Agree- 4

From this I have leant that we had the right amount of pictures to text therefore making it appeal to our target audience.

Page 20: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The style fitted in with the documentary

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Strongly agree-2Agree-4Disagree-2

From this I can come to conclusion that overall the style is similar to the doc-umentary. This may be be-cause of the colour schemes we used.

Page 21: What have you learned from your audience feedback

The look of the double page spread was eye catching

strongly agreeagreestrongly disagreedisagree

Agree- 5Strongly agree- 1Disagree- 4

Overall most people thought that it was eye catching, this may have been because of he fonts and col-ours we used. However some people may have thought the im-ages used were weak and could have stood out more.

Page 22: What have you learned from your audience feedback

In conclusion..

• I believe that overall our documentary, radio trailer and double page spread were all successful, thanks to our target audience feedback. Despite some people who thought the sound levels were too high at times, and the radio trailer being too long. I can confidently say that all 3 products worked well together to create a brand awareness.
