Questionnaires

• In order to gain this information we decided to create a questionnaire for our target audience to feedback to us on how they found the documentary, radio trailer and double page spread. In all questionnaires we used closed questions so that we could analyse the results easier and quicker.

• We asked 10 people and the results were…

The voiceover is relevant to the topic and clear

The sound levels are consistent and clear throughout the documentary


Fairly mixed results which suggests that sound levels could have been improved as the voiceover could have been louder and music could have been quieter

Overall we were happy with our interviews as there isn't any negative feedback

From our results it is clear that we had picture quality issues therefore we needed to be more careful on the lighting.

The Voxpops used are clear and relevant to the topic of the documentary

As you can see our view-ers were happy with the Voxpops, which suggests that the questions we asked them were suitable to the documentary and clear

The music used has good sound levels

Mixed results but sug-gests that the music may have been too loud resulting in it be-ing difficult for some to hear the interviews really clearly

The text is clear and can be read easily

This is positive feedback as shows they had enough time to read facts, and names of people interviewed. Also suggests that the font, colour and size were all easily read

Radio trailer analysis

• We also asked 10 people closed questions to see how they found our radio trailer.

Mixed results which could suggest that some people found the trailer a bit too long.

The radio trailer sounds professional

This suggests that the people may have liked the context of the trailer, as well a the music and trans-itions between clips

The music that is used has good sound levels and is relevant


This could suggest that the sound levels were too high res-ulting in the voiceover and other clips being hard to hear. However could suggest the music was relevant

The snippets in the documentary were used effectively



From this successful feedback I can analyse that maybe there was too much voiceover, as they enjoyed the snippets from the documentary

From this feedback I can ana-lyse that the target audience didn’t like the images that we used as well this they may have thought the layout was inad-equate and didn’t look profes-sional

From this I have leant that we had the right amount of pictures to text therefore making it appeal to our target audience.

The style fitted in with the documentary

From this I can come to conclusion that overall the style is similar to the doc-umentary. This may be be-cause of the colour schemes we used.

The look of the double page spread was eye catching

Overall most people thought that it was eye catching, this may have been because of he fonts and col-ours we used. However some people may have thought the im-ages used were weak and could have stood out more.

In conclusion..

• I believe that overall our documentary, radio trailer and double page spread were all successful, thanks to our target audience feedback. Despite some people who thought the sound levels were too high at times, and the radio trailer being too long. I can confidently say that all 3 products worked well together to create a brand awareness.
