Objectives Through this lecture, the class will be able to

differentiate between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and will be equipped to think more deeply on the subject and decide which they will use more in their future classrooms to effectively teach their students.

After this lecture, the students will be able to verbalize an example of correct usage of intrinsic or extrinsic motivation in a classroom setting, and feel confident in using these techniques in their future classrooms.
