“O” Scholarships
• WGSS students compete against all Langley applicants
• Criteria is set by the donor
• Highest GPA is usually the determining factor
• Only one “O” award per student
• $4000 - $200
“W” Scholarships
• Only WGSS students can win
• Criteria is set by the donor
• Provide as many scholarships as possible to as many students as possible – determined by leadership, service, academics, financial need
• Students may win more than one award
• $1500 - $200

District/Authority Scholarship Details
The GPA for this scholarship is calculated on required academic courses
for Grade 11 + 12 plus the 3 or 4 specialty courses (where applicable) in
the area of interest
Minimum GPA of 67% required in Grade 11 + 12 year. Grade 12 Term 2 marks and completed course marks are used in the calculation.
