2. English for Commercial Correspondence: This course focuses more specifically on the writing of emails only. It deals with how to write emails which are accurate and successful. NB: Materials will be adapted to suit your specific business context.

3. E-mail Writing: This course is intended for people who need to write commercial correspondence in English as part of their work. It aims to provide practical help in writing commercial correspondence, especially for email writing, including layout, header information, message text, style, and email abbreviations. It explains how to write clearly and effectively, and demonstrates how it is possible to be polite without seeming timid, direct yet not rude, concise rather than abrupt, and firm but not inflexible.

An introduction to emails: The email screen, email structure, subject lines. Formal and informal emails: Formal/informal phrases, abbreviations Enquiries: Writing and replying to enquiries, polite language Requesting action: Writing to colleagues, talking about deadlines and taking action Exchanging information: Informing and replying, colloquial phrases, being diplomatic Making and confirming arrangements: Typical phrases, prepositions of time, apology

Our Service

There are 3 stages to our training program:

1. Before the course

• Developing course objectives. We will meet to discuss your company’s training needs in which we will work out a course outline with clear targets. You may wish to have the trainees focus on writing effective emails, deal with customers on the phone, or simply develop an all-round confidence – the choice is yours. We will advise based on our experience, but the final decision, of course, will be yours.

• Assessing the level of the students. We offer a free placement test to gauge the current level of English level of the trainees. We can then place the students into different classes, or adapt teaching material to suit all levels in one class.

2. During the course

• Training the students. We will teach the students the agreed curriculum in a professional manner. We will do our best to ensure that the trainees reach the targets that we have set.

• Monitoring the attendance. We will keep attendance records for your HR department.

• Assessing the progress being made. Trainees will be given regular progress tests throughout the training so that we can ensure they are moving toward their English language targets. They will be given a final exam at the end of the course.

3. After the course

• Evaluating the course. The trainees will give feedback on the effectiveness and the course and rate their satisfaction. This will inform a discussion between you and us to determine if any further training is required.

Our Great Location

We are situated in a fantastic part of Bangkok. Our centre is easily accessible by both the BTS (Asoke) and MRT (Sukhumvit) and we are surrounded by a great many places to eat, drink, and shop (we are only a five-minute walk from Terminal 21).

Where can you study?

In your office: We can arrange for our teacher to visit you in your premises. This arrangement is popular as it is both time-saving and convenient.

In our school: You can choose to study in our professional and comfortable environment, our 12 classrooms are large, clean and comfortable. All of them are equipped with computers and overhead projection facilities. We also have an area where you can relax with complimentary teas and coffees.
