THE SCORE SYSTEM Scores are based on where you placed in each tournament, the

lower your score, the higher you placed.

If you place first your score is 1, if you place 10th your score is 10 and so on.

If you compete in all 4 tournaments your best 2 out of 4 placements will count.

In case of a tie, the team or angler with the best placement score at any trail tournament

will win. (1st place & 3rd place will beat 2nd & 2nd place).

Category: Angler of the Year Cash Payout NEW 2017-Your partners must also be members of the WCWT.

Runner up Prize

To qualify for Angler of the Year you must fish with at least 2 or more different partners over the course of the season and use the placement scores from when competing with 2 of those different partners.

Runner up Prize

Team that has the best placement scores for the year. (Must compete in 2 of 4 tournaments)

Mixed Team of the Year Cash Payout

Runner up Prize

Team that has the best placement score for the year. Male and Female Adult and Youth. (Must compete in 2 of 4 tournaments)

Junior Angler of the Year Prize (Must compete in 2 of 4 tournaments)

Junior that has the best placement scores for the year, fishing with an Adult member.

Trail Champion Prize (Must compete in 3 of 4 tournaments)

The Team, Mixed Team or Angler that have the best placement scores for the year.

King of Slave Cash (Must compete in both tournaments)

Your best placement score from Golden Walleye Classic and Canadian Tire Anglers Cup.

King of Lakeland Cash (Must compete in both tournaments)

Your best placement score from Willvil Walleye Tournament and Moose Lake Walleye Classic.

Big Fish of the Year Cash (Both anglers in the boat must be members).

Big Fish must be deemed live and releasable.

Other cash payouts and prizes will be during the WCWT Banquet. Membership Mystery Draw, YEARLY 50/50, Door prizes, lots of great stuff to be won this year at the WCWT awards ceremony. (Meal included).

You MUST be a member and attend the awards ceremony to claim any of the WCWT prizes. Banquet Ticket Holders qualify for door prizes.

Waivers I understand that the Western Canadian Walleye Trail is a sporting event comprised of combined standings from each of the member tournaments. The trail committee shall act as the referee in disputes only related to the Trail and not for individual tournament operations. All decisions made by this committee will be final and without legal appeal.

Photo and Video release As a participant in a member tournament of the Western Canadian Walleye Trail, I understand and agree that my photograph and/or Videos of me may be taken during the course of my participation by the tournament and Trail organizers, Media or sponsors. I agree that photographs, film, video, or printed articles taken of me during such participation may be used for commercial purposes and promotions without royalties or payment of any kind.

Release of Liability I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the member tournaments included in the Western Canadian Walleye Trail. In consideration of my being allowed to and agreeing to participate I hereby acknowledge that neither the Government of Alberta, nor the Western Canadian Walleye Trail, nor the administrators of the member tournaments, nor any of their respective employees, servants, contractors, agents or volunteers (hereinafter called "the releasees") shall be liable for any damage to property, bodily injury, or loss of life arising howsoever, including through negligence of the releasees or any of them, from or by reason of my participation in the said Western Canadian Walleye Trail, and I hereby release and discharge the releasees or any of them from any and all actions, claims or demands which I may have against or all of the releasees, and to indemnify and hold harmless the releasees or any of them against any and all liabilities, actions, claims and demands that may be made against the releasees or any of them, arising from or by reason of my participation in the said Trail, whether arising by reason of the negligence of the releasees or any of them, the condition of the premises or equipment used, or

in any matter whatsoever. I agree as a Western Canadian Walleye Trail member to have current liability insurance on my boat and equipment.

WCWT rules

Must at all times, adhere to all tournament rules & regulations, all boating laws & regulations as well as Provincial & Federal laws & regulations. You and your partner(s) MUST be a member of the WCWT to qualify for any prize category. Any tournaments mentioned by WCWT are subject to licencing approval.
