The willing agencies will have to quote their rate in their letter pad in accordance with the attached specifiedblank quotation paper/work schedule Rates arc to be quoted both in words and in figures inclusive all taxes &all other incidental charges viz carriage charge, fixing charges ,loading, unloading etc.8% security money will be deducted from the bill submitted by the successful agency.Unsuccessful quotationer earnest money will be released after issuing work order to successful quotationer.Successful quotationer will have to execute an agreement on non judicial stamp paper worth Rs.IOO.OOwithin 3(three) days from the date of work order.Conditional Rates will not be accepted.All correction are to be initialled.Willing agencies will have to produce the copies of valid up to date professional tax clearance certificate,Trade license, of PAN Card, upto date IT &GST return copy ,credential along with their quotation papers.The work is to be carried out as per direction of Corporation. Annexure -1

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITION

I. No idle labour charges will be entertained in any circumstances.

2. The contractor shall procure the best available materials as specified in tender scheduleconfirming to the relevant I3IS standard and all materials to be used in work shall duly beapproved by the Engineer in-Charge.

3. No secured advance on materials is admissible.

4. No mobilisation advance is admissible under this contract.

5. Necessary safety and security measure (viz. uses of safety belt, nets, helmets etc) to the workersare to be given by the tenderer at his own cost.

6. Full Security deposit@1 0% shall be refunded after one year from virtual completion of worksatisfactori Iy.

7. All statutory deduction of taxes as applicable as per rule, will be deducted from the agency's bill.

8. The time allowed for completion of work as mentioned in the tender shall be strictly observed bythe contractor and shall be reckoned from the date on which the order to commence work is givento the contractor. The work shall throughout the stipulated period of the contract be proceededwith all the due diligence (time being deem cd to be of the essence of the contact on the pari of thecontractor) In the event of the contractor failing to commence or finish the work within the duedate as per work programme submitted before execution of work, he shall be to liable to pay ascompensation an amount equal to the one percent as per estimated value of tender or such smalleramount as fixed by the Corporation for every week delay all the work remains un-cornmenced orun-finished after the stipulated due date.

9. In case the work is deliberately suspended for more than half month due to fault of the agency, hissecurity deposit as constituted or earnest money will be forfeited by the Corporation, and theagency will be black listed from participating in tender/quotation for at least 3 years.

10. The Agency will be liable to maintain the work at the appropriate service level to the satisfaction of theEngineer-in Charge/authority at his own cost for the entire security period from the date of completion. Ifany defect/damage is found during the period as mentioned above, the contractor shall make the same goodas per contract otherwise, penal action against the Agency will be imposed by the Corporation as deemedfit. The quantities of various items are approximate and may vary as per site condition and decision ofWI3MDFC. The agency will have to quote its rate considering the above aspect.

II. If the contractor fails to do any rectification/replacement as suggested by the EinC, the Corporation shall beentitled to carry out such work by his own work men or by other contractor. In such cases necessaryexpenditure would be deducted from the security deposit of the prime agency.

12. No price escalation will be allowed during period of construction.

13. Contractor shall take every precautions to protect against damage breakage or pilferage of any material ofCorporation and if such happened that will be borne by the contractor.

14. All quantity of the items are approximate/variable. No such claim of the contractor will be entertained ifanyone item or more than one item is not executed as per site condition or as per decision of theCorporation.

15. Excess quantity of work may be carried out subject to approval of the Corporation.

16. Any additional item of work if required by the EinC/ Authority shall be evaluated at the rate set out in thecontract and if the contract does not contain any rate applicable for extra or additional work, the suitableprice shall be taken from the PWD schedule (WB) as far as practicable. If there is no similar item in PWDschedule of rates, the item rates to be derived as per current market price as per satisfaction of1':inC/Authority, and the agency has to do such extra/additional work on the determined rate.

17. The agency will have to carryout his work in coordination with the work of other agency selected byWBMDFC to complete the work in scheduled time.

18. The agency will have to perform all maintenance work during guarantee / warrantee period as per contract.
