NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS:
This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Project Manual and
Drawings, issued for Competitive Sealed Proposals 24 November 2014, to the extent noted hereinafter.
Receipt of the Addendum must be acknowledged on the Bid/Proposal Form.
Careful note of this Addendum shall be taken by all parties of interest so that proper allowance is made in
all computations, estimates and contracts and so that all trades affected are fully advised in the
performance of work that will be required by them.
This Addendum supersedes all previous Drawings, Specifications and instructions pertaining to these
items.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Item No. 1.01 Refer to the attached sign in sheet for the names of the attendees at the Pre-
Proposal Conference held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
PROJECT MANUAL
Item No. 1.02 General Documents. 02 Table of Contents. Remove and replace the Table of
Contents with the attached revised Table of Contents.
Item No. 1.03 General Documents. 03 Proposal Advertisement. Replace the paragraph which
describes the Competitive Sealed Proposal process as follows:
The Competitive Sealed Proposal process will be utilized as authorized in Senate
Bill 1093, Legislative Session 83-2013, Ch. 2269, Subchapter d, of Texas
Government Code. The Competitive Sealed Proposal process enables HISD to
select contractors on the basis of price and qualifications/methodology.
Item No. 1.04 General Documents. 04: Project Information.
HISD CS Procurement Manager: Revise the name of the HISD Procurement Manager from Earl Finley to Raymond Hooks.
5.0 Program Construction Budget & Estimate Duration. Revise the Owners Estimated Duration (Calendar Days) from 210 Calendar days to 280 Calendar

days. This duration is the total for all (3) of the MS in this construction
package. It is anticipated that the renovation of each pair of Boys / Girls
Restrooms will be completed within 56 calendar days.
Item No. 1.05 Proposed Submittal Requirements. Section AB for CSP. Specific Conditions
for M/WBE Participation. Remove and replace in its entirety Section AB with
Attachment B: Specific Conditions for M/WBE Participation dated 06/25/2014.
Attachment B is included with this Addendum No. 1 and has a total of 18 pages.
Item No. 1.06 Proposal Forms. Remove and replace CB: Proposal Form (Part A) with the
attached revised CB: Proposal Form (Part A).
