1983

Set up of export of heavy equipment to U.S.A.

1987

Crisis in the U.S.A., start of rental of equipment

Start cooperation with LIEBHERR

1994

Maats becomes exclusive distributor for LIEBHERR pipeline equipment for Europe

1998

Maats stops with earthmoving equipment; focus on pipeline equipment

2000

Establishment of Maats Insaat in Ankara, Turkey

2001

Maats (together with Technip) takes over Mannesmann Anlagenbau, founding of Maats European Pipeline Rentals B.V.

2004

Maats buys out Technip, becomes 100% owner

2005
