Consisting of 100 percent natural materials and sourced from sustainable resources, they are fully biodegradable. If you ever wondered what the finest pillows and duvets felt like, Hanse organic pillows and duvets will give you the answer. Featuring natural breathing and cooling zones, they ensure the perfect temperature during sleep. The icing on the cake is the

high quality organic cotton sheets, made by Beaumont & Brown, with toweling and bathrobes from Madison Collection - words will never do them justice.

YOUR VILLA - THE FOUNDATIONSOF A GREAT SLEEP

The villa environment has the foundations of a superior sleep. If it’s connected to helping you sleep better, we’ve thought about it. From your mattress to bed linens, pillows and amenities, Six Senses Zighy Bay is in the process of making these items standard, and quality sleep a standard throughout the group. You can also choose from several sleep technology aids that are available to enhance your sleep.

The BedThe making of a perfect sleep starts with a perfect mattress. While we may know when a mattress isn’t good enough, few of us have experienced the benefits of the perfect mattress and its effects on our sleep. The Sleep with Six Senses mattress is handmade in England by Naturalmat. It is constructed using lambs’ wool that has been treated with essential oils, making them naturally hypoallergenic and ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers.

Everything about this mattress oozes goodness right down to how it is sourced. The coir fiber used in the mattress comes from organically grown and processed coconuts from a fair-trade initiative farm, while the latex is from the world’s only certified organic rubber plantation. So, while retaining the necessary firmness, your mattress will contour beautifully around your body.

Pillows and DuvetsWhere do you start sourcing the finest pillows and duvets the world has to offer? The answer is Hans, a German company that cares as much about sleep as we do. Hans offer high quality, organic pillows and duvets crafted with a love that comes through the finest workmanship.

In addition to being non-allergenic, organic and sustainable, Hanse pillows and duvets are also resistant to dust mites due in part to the excellent thermal and climatic conditions that create a poor habitat for these little creatures. The tight weave of the fabric casing also acts as a barrier preventing the mites from passing through.

Hans’ unique design features a three-tier chamber that prevents flattening so they retain their lightweight aspect that provides the perfect conditions for sleep, every night. There’s also another hi-tech bonus, any humidity from body moisture rapidly disappears with airing of the bedding.

The Linen Long-staple cotton, superfine yarns and expertly spun by specialist weavers - this is the résumé of fine cotton sheet makers Beaumont & Brown. Their top quality organic cotton sheets were first choice for Six Senses Zighy Bay bedding. Like ourselves, they have a passion for detail. Hand woven in the Shandong Province of China, the raw fabric which has a smooth hand and a thread count of 300, is sent on the roll to Nantong where it goes through more finishing processes. From here, the newly finished fabric is inspected for quality control and then cut and hemmed with precision and care by experts. By identifying and understanding that every step in their products' manufacturing is just as important as the next, Beaumont & Brown set the standard, as they say - from the thread to the bed.

UPGRADE YOUR SLEEP

Guests can request the Valley Forge Luxurious Collection, derived from Tencel+Plus Eucalyptus Fiber and expertly blended with long staple cotton.It wicks heat and moisture away from your body to create a cleaner and healthier sleep environment

Tencel+Plus is designated BioPreferred by the USDA and is FKT medically tested for toxins. The eucalyptus component is from rapidly renewable eucalyptus trees and is converted to fiber using a non-toxic solvent that is 99.6 percent recovered and reused in a truly sustainable production system.

The TechnologyLet us explain in a bit more detail, but we promise there’ll be no boring graphs. When upgrading your sleep experience, a ResMed S+ is provided to help measure and analyze your sleep. It uses ballistocardiography, otherwise known as a game winner in Scrabble, to measure variations induced by respiration rate, heart beats and the body’s movements during the night. It does this with clinical accuracy to analyze the structure of your sleep, as well as the presence in the bed and the number of wake-ups per night. All of this can be monitored by the health app on your smartphone, helping you visualize

your full sleep cycles, discover what wakes you up, allows you to compare nights, and get insights to improve your sleep quality.

Last but certainly not least, the Sound + Sleep Ecotones Machine produces the sound track to better nights sleep. 30 high-definition sound profiles are available to carry you off into a deep sleep, from relaxing sounds of nature to white noises.

Sleep AmenitiesIf it helps you to sleep, you’ll find it in The Sleep Bag. Delve into a selection of specially developed and sourced sleep aids, including bamboo fiber pajamas, SHOKAY eye mask, ear plugs, nose strips, nasal neti pot and jasmine sleep spritzer. ENHANCING YOUR SLEEP

The perfect sleep has been packaged by Sleep with Six Senses, so you don’t have to move an inch and your mind can simply relax. The package includes a Sleep Bag, Valley Forge moisture-wicking linens and a ResMed S+ Tracker/App. The best part is that the results from your sleep app are reviewed with the Six Senses Integrated Wellness Practitioner during a 30-minute personal consultation.

Based on the results, the wellness practitioner may recommend a personalized program of spa treatments and activities to help improve your sleep.

If you feel you need an immediate boost to improve your sleep, there are several additional items available.

There’s the Sound + Sleep Ecotones Machine that produces 30 high-definition sound profiles from nature, such as sounds of ocean, rivers, and meadows to white noises; specialty pillows for the body, side and back by Naturalmat; a dehumidifier/humidifier to complement air-conditioning and perfect personal climate control; and a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) Rack.

WELLNESS SCREENING

Start as you mean to go on by embarking on the complete wellness experience, beginning your stay with a Wellness Screening.

Six Senses Wellness Screening measures all of your key physiological biomarkers using the latest smart technologies to clearly define your personal path to achieving superior health. The screening can be personalized to how you’re feeling on the day, whether you’d like to be more relaxed or more active, it’s your choice.

First, a finger oximeter observes your heart rate, tissue oxygen uptake and distribution, arterial stiffness and stress parameters. We also use non-invasive electrodes to measure and interpret resistance to the flow of a gentle electric current through interstitial fluid (fluid between the cells) throughout the body.

Then there is the Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, (BIA), which is a widely recognized technique for estimating body composition.

Experts then share your screening results and together with discussions about your lifestyle, concerns and personal goals, recommend a multi-dimensional wellness program to get you to the best version of you. This will typically combine spa treatments, fitness and wellness activities with advice on foods to favor or avoid during your stay.

We’ll also be introducing healthy menus around specific wellness programs, complimenting your healthy lifestyle at every step.
