Well Connected Communities Brand, Copy and Logo Guidelines Brand Guidelines The name, Well Connected Communities, should NOT be hyphenated. The “Well” in Well Connected Communities is intended to convey health rather than the idea that the communities are a network. Copy Guidelines What follows is language specific to how we should talk about the Well Connected Communities initiative which includes Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's role. Well Connected Communities is an effort to cultivate wellness across the country. America's Cooperative Extension System , including (insert land-grant university if applicable), in partnership with National 4-H Council , is equipping volunteer leaders to help their neighbors be healthier at every stage of life. With the support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health, these communities are cultivating wellness and fostering a Culture of Health in America. Abbreviated version: Well Connected Communities is a nationwide effort to cultivate wellness led by America's Cooperative Extension System (in partnership with National 4-H Council) with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Well Connected Communities Logo The Well Connected Communities (WCC) logo should be used in any communications materials that discuss the work being done by local health councils in selected communities to cultivate wellness across the country. In communities where a local health council existed prior to this initiative, existing council names and/or logos can be used in conjunction with the WCC logo.

The “Well” in Well Connected Communities is intended to convey health rather than the idea that the communities are a network.

Copy GuidelinesWhat follows is language specific to how we should talk about the Well Connected Communities initiative which includes Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's role.

Well Connected Communities Logo The Well Connected Communities (WCC) logo should be used in any communications materials

o Do not alter the WCC logo to include additional names and/or images. All logos must stand alone.

For presentations/materials that were created prior to the WCC initiative and are currently being used, please incorporated the WCC logo on the first slide/page when able.

Other Logos When necessary, the following 3 logos can be incorporated into materials:

o Cooperative Extension logo o National 4-H Council logo o Land-Grant University logo

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) logoo Please do not use the RWJF logo in any collateral, including presentations and

documents.
