Alfred HitchcockAlfred Hitchcock is possibly one of the most well know directors of thrillers producing classics such as Rear Window (1954), Psycho (1960), Vertigo (1958) inspiring many film makers and setting the way for new types of thrillers. He is now known for pioneering the way for many films to come developing new techniques.

Steven Spielberg• Steven Spielberg is one of the

most successful modern thriller director responsible for films including Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and Jaws (1975). Spielburg is an American film director who was born in 1946 with his career spanning over more than 4 decades covering many different genres over this time.

James CameronJames Cameron is a Canadian film director/producer and screen writer born 16th August 1954, first finding success for the film The Terminator. Cameron's most award winning films are Titanic (1997) and Avatar (2009) but he has been involved in many more.

Martin Scorsese • Martin Scorsese is also a very

well known film director/producer/actor known for creating the following films to name a few: Goodfellas (1990) Taxi Driver (1976) Raging Bull (1980) and The Departed(2006). Born the 17th November 1942 Scorsese grew up looking at the work of Hitchcock.
