Existing riverside walkway Riverside walkway complete but inaccessible to public The missing link in the walkway to be provided Overview of site from East Welcome to this Public Exhibition which outlines Hollybrook’s proposals for the long overdue regeneration of the Odessa Street site. This includes the disused nightclub and former youth club building. Thank you for taking the time to come and see what is proposed. The purpose of this exhibition is to provide you with an opportunity to view the plans for the redevelopment and to hear your opinions of them. Members of the Project Team are available to answer any questions you may have. The regeneration of the site has been planned for a long time however it has only been with the provision of replacement facilities at the Rotherhithe Centre earlier this year that it is now able to happen. The proposals for the site include the: - Provision of the missing section of the Thames River Path; - A new landscaped pocket park; - A café/restaurant taking advantage of the great river views; - New private and affordable housing. The existing nightclub and youth club building will be removed. After you have looked around and discussed anything you wish with members of the Project Team present, please take a few minutes to complete the feedback form we have available and leave it in the box provided. If you complete your contact details as requested we will keep you informed of the progress of the scheme. If you don’t have the time today it is possible to take the form away and post it to us using the address provided. 1 The site 2 Odessa Wharf 3 New Caledonian Wharf 4 Custom House Reach 5 Wyatt Close 6 Gabriel House 7 Former Youth Club building 8 Former Downtown nightclub 9 New Rotherhithe Centre (Docklands Settlement) 10 King Frederick IX Tower 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 Odessa Street Gulliver Street Rotherhithe Street 8 9 7 Welcome

The crane cannot remain in its current location as it restricts the site from being developed.

It has not been maintained and is in a very poor state of repair. IT is currently a health and safety concern.

No decision has been made but one option is to relocate a restored section of the crane to the corner of the site.

Another option is to offer it to a local preservation society.

We would appreciate your views.

The proposal viewed from Odessa Wharf

This board shows early images of how the development could look. It is proposed to be 4 storeys in height closest to Gabriel House and the nearest houses in Wyatt Close.

The tallest point is 10 storeys but this is located away from the properties in Gabriel House and Wyatt Close. The building is currently proposed to be built of brick to be in keeping with the local area.
