Christmas Walk & Holiday House Tour December 6 – 7, 2013 • December 5 – 6, 2014Christmas WalkEnjoy an evening of shopping and dining in historic Geneva and delight in chestnuts roasting, strolling carolers, and complimentary Swedish cookies and hot cider. Festivities begin at 6 pm on Friday with the horse-drawn carriage arrival of Santa Lucia and Santa Claus who light the Great Tree on the courthouse lawn. Events continue throughout the weekend.

House TourThe House Tour takes place on Friday from 11 am – 8 pm and Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm. This self-guided tour consists of five distinctive homes festively decorated for the season, a traditional tea at the First Congregational Church and a keepsake decorating and entertaining ideas booklet. Great Western TrailThe Great Western Trail crosses small streams and wetlands. It is a place of quiet beauty, a linear wildlife refuge and truly one of the finer experiences available in Kane County.
