Minimum Sixth Form Entry Criteria• 5 or more GCSE or equivalent grades at A* to C or Grade 5 to 9.

Minimum Subject Entry Criteria• Each subject has individual entry criteria• Some subjects have a ‘Route A’ and ‘Route B’ entry option to ensure that students who may not have

studied that subject at GCSE can still have the opportunity to study the subject as a Sixth Form Option.

Minimum Subject Entry Options – Volume of study • All students will study at least 3 A level and/or BTEC courses • Some students may study 4 A level and/or BTEC courses

• FAQ: What’s the difference between an A Level and a BTEC Qualification? • All students will study an enrichment option • Maximum of 1 subject choice per option block

Please Note: A course may not be offered if there are too few students wishing to study that subject.

• We also require an application letter explaining:• Why you want to come to QE Sixth Form?• Why you have chosen your courses and

enrichment option for Sixth Form study?• What are your future plans and desired

destinations?

• Deadline - 31st January 2017• Applications can be made throughout the year but we encourage students to

meet this deadline for the purpose of securing their preferred choices

• Start your research and planning early

• Ask as many questions as you can

• Use our professional guidance and support

• Begin your first draft application letter and interview preparations – be pro-active!
