Enrollment Guide New Learning Partners
Welcome to the Microsoft Learning Partner Program
You've taken the first step to increase the business value of Microsoft technologies by offering
training services to customers and partners. As a Learning Partner, you differentiate your
business and become eligible for benefits, training-use software, specialized content, software
assurance training vouchers and more. This guide and the checklist below will guide you
through enrollment and connect you with all the program resources. Let's get started!
Learning Program Enrollment Checklist:
1. Review the Learning Partner Program Guide and Performance Guidelines.
2. Choose a Center of Excellence and a Technical Competency, then enroll in the Learning
Option.
3. Request an account on Courseware Marketplace.
4. Create a Marketing Profile on Partner Center Referrals.
5. Software Assurance Training Voucher (SATV)
6. Get Acquainted with the Learning Resources
7. Your KPI Dashboard
8. Connect with the Learning Partner Community.
9. Learn About the Learning Partner Incentive Program.
10. Additional Learning Program Opportunities.

To help you make the most of your MPN membership, we've grouped competencies into six
Centers of Excellence that align to your business needs. Choose a Center of Excellence and a
Technical Competency, then enroll in the Learning Option.
1) Review the Centers of Excellence on MPN
✓ Choose your desired Center of Excellence
✓ Select a technical competency

✓ Scroll down and select Competency Details
2) How to Select the Learning Option
✓ From the Competency Details page, select Competency Requirements
✓ Scroll down and expand the Learning Partner Option
✓ Review Learning Partner Option requirements for your level (Silver or Gold)
(Review the requirements section for each Technical Competency that includes
the Learning Partner Option.)
3) Find the benefits for each Technical Competency and the Learning Option on the
Competency benefits tab of each Technical Competency

4) Complete the following materials for Silver enrollment; then contact the RSC to enroll:
1. Commit to the Performance Requirements
2. Meet the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Requirements
3. Complete and submit the Business Application (Except MAPs-Learning
Option.) Follow the submission steps found in the Business Application.
4. Provide Customer Evidence (Example of a Customer Evidence e-mail)
5. Complete your organizations profile
6. Pay the Competency Fee
5) Create an account on Courseware Marketplace. Within 48 to 72 hours after submitting
the form, you will receive an e-mail to activate your Courseware Marketplace account.
After it is activated visit Courseware Marketplace to purchase Official Microsoft Learning
Products (OMLP).
6) Create a Marketing Profile on Partner Center Referrals, designed to amplify customer
leads and business growth. Highlight your organization's strengths with a strong
Marketing Profile. Keywords entered by students are matched against the profile content
providing a relevant list of Learning Partners.
✓ Sign-in to Partner Center, from the Dashboard menu, select Referrals >
Marketing profile. Add a profile for each location you'd like to promote.
✓ Use marketing profile "nickname" to identify their unique set of profiles
✓ Logos can be uploaded in any size or disposition (horizontal or vertical).
You can submit different logos for each profile you create.
✓ Include information (up to 2500 words) about your company, including all
ways to contact, attributes that highlight your business expertise and a
description that is customer facing.
✓ Use your legal company name.
✓ Include the website url in the web box.
✓ The email provided in the marketing profile will receive notifications when
a referral is available.
Courseware Marketplace (CWMP) is a central platform providing all Microsoft physical and digital
Courseware titles world-wide. Innovative self-service capabilities and maximum process
transparency make this Online Shop the one-stop-shopping solution for all Courseware needs. If

NOTE: Do not refer to another Microsoft partner name unless it is a legal
affiliate, or subsidiary, or you have an agreement to act in partnership and
to promote shared work opportunities.
✓ For support contact your Regional Service Center: RSC
Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATV) Software Assurance Training Vouchers can be included as a benefit with volume licensing
purchases of Microsoft software. Acting as a “credit card” for training, SATV allow customers to
redeem them for training−instructor-led, technical training and validation with MCP exams and
Microsoft Course Certificates (LaaS)−with Learning partners enrolled in SATV. Silver and Gold
Level Learning Partners, in good standing, are eligible to enroll into SATV. Learn more here, or

Get Acquainted with the Learning Resources
All Learning option resources can be found on the Learning Partner page on MPN. Here you will
find marketing and readiness materials, enrollment guides, performance guides (KPIs), incentive
materials, videos, SATV resources and more. For quick access to the resources bookmark the
Learning Resources detail page. Searching is easy, just browse the left margin navigation bar to
find what you are looking for and click on the link, then download the materials.

Your KPI Dashboard
To find your KPI Dashboard scroll down the Learning page on MPN to “Track your progress”
and click on “View your dashboard." (You must be signed into your account, using the primary
contact email associated with your MPN profile, to view the dashboard.)
To go to your KPI Dashboard, scroll down and to the right and click on “Learning partner
dashboard." The "Status" indicates your Learning Partner KPI status: Gold, Silver, MAPS or
Ineligible if your organization is not compliant.

At the bottom of the "Organization status" page is an overview or the accumulated KPIs.
The “Monthly Data” tab shows KPIs earned per month. Remember, purchases made after the last
posted month will be included in the next monthly refresh.

Learning Partner Incentive Program
Designed to accelerate adoption of Digital Microsoft Official Courseware (DMOC), Certification
Exam Vouchers, and Microsoft Labs Online (MOL) available on Courseware Marketplace, the
Learning Partner Incentive Program rewards that drive the latest Microsoft technologies while
emphasizing the value of electronic delivery of Microsoft Learning Products. The Incentive
Program runs twice annually in January 1st and July 1st. Each new Incentive Program requires
separate enrollment for each participating location. Full program details can be found on the

MPN Partner of the Year Award
Recognition, prestige, and opportunity for all Microsoft partners−the MPN Partner of the Year
Awards celebrate innovation. Winners and finalists are chosen each year based on a self-
nominating process by partners. Winners are celebrated at Microsoft Inspire in Washington DC
mid-July. This is your opportunity to highlight your solutions built on Microsoft technologies
and show how they benefit our mutual customers. Receiving a Partner of the Year Award
positions your company for new business opportunities, generates positive press coverage, and
can lead to even greater market recognition. Look for an announcement in Spring, that the
Partner of the Year Awards nomination tool is open. Access the tips-and-tricks documents and
create an award-winning nomination!

Not ready to become a Silver Learning Partner? Learn how easy it is to get started as
a Learning Partner by subscribing to Microsoft Action Pack and then enrolling in
MAPs-Learning Option.
Microsoft Certified Trainers
MCTs are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft technologies. MCTs are an
exclusive group of Microsoft technical training professionals that receive exclusive benefits,
including access to the complete library of official Microsoft training and certification products;
substantial discounts on exams, books, and Microsoft products; readiness resources and access
to a members-only online community; and invitations to exclusive events and programs. Learn
