Of course, we’ll have tutored wine tastings, exciting art previews and the newest city running club with jogs around the cobbled streets, as well as a few treats for the hard core more adventurous runners.

We’ll host the usual events but with a little added extra: a twist on the Burns’ Supper, a must be at Hogmanay and full access to Gleneagles’ packed calendar of events (it’s just up the road, after all). And there will be surprises. Lots of surprises.

But when we say the Townhouse is your community to influence, these are not empty words, we really mean it! So whether you fancy a chilled weekly games night or whether you want to kick-start a collaboration to change the world, the Townhouse – and our friendly, resourceful membership team – will make it happen.

We’re deeply passionate about our city and are delighted to be working with local partners – from apparel designers to newly discovered drinks brands made here in Edinburgh, we’re looking forward to introducing you to some of our favourite innovators in the city. Meet friends for casual all-day dining – from Bloody Mary breakfasts and long, lazy lunches to three-course dinners and naughty nightcaps. Open to the public, members always get priority booking.

Boost mind, body and soul in The Strong Rooms – originally a lock-up for people’s silver and now our member and residents-only wellness space – which features some of the best health and fitness equipment and experiences in the industry. From our state-of-the-art gym and two studios, one dedicated to spinning the other to a range of body fit and holistic classes. We also offer a range of innovative treatments, including a cryotherapy chamber and infrared sauna, our goal is to enhance the wellness journey through movement, restoration and recovery.

Our member-led programme of experiences has something for any mood. For nights that demand a more gentle pace - try a wine tasting or settle in for a talk with the fascinating and the inspiring . On other occasions live music and seasonal parties will fill the rooms with chatter and laughter…

And the central bar in the main restaurant is where Edinburgh will congregate for the post-work debrief accompanied by the finest craft beers, wines and bar snacks.

Come the evening there really is no better place to see the sun set and the city lights turn on than in our glorious rooftop bar which serves classic cocktails and vast views.
