HIS Ministry Cold weather is here so we are collecting stocking caps, gloves,

mittens, scarves, blankets (especially the smaller roll up kind) and sleeping bags (new or gently used) to be distributed to the homeless and those in need through local shelters and soup kitchens. Please leave them in the large basket at the HIS Kiosk. Also available are Blessing Bags for both humans and their K-9 friends. Many of them keep dogs as a means of protection and will make sure their dogs eat first. Stop by the Kiosk and pick up the bags to distribute as you go around town. HIS is looking for caring hearts and willing people to be on our leadership team. If you have a project that you would like to see St. John’s do or would like to help in planning and coordinating events, please contact Deb Wood at 472-2443 or [email protected].

St. John’s SCRIP You can purchase SCRIP at the school office during the week or at the Information

Center between services only on Sunday. SCRIP is face value gift cards. You can purchase SCRIP as gift cards from local and national retailers and restaurants. Why use SCRIP? It is easy and a percentage of every purchase of SCRIP comes back to support our School and Children’s Center.
