Welcome to Caravan Club Site The site is on several levels and set in rolling countryside, much of which is designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Some pitches have splendid views over the Hampshire countryside and others are in open woodland glades. Wiltshire itself is steeped in ancient history and includes the World Heritage Site at Stonehenge/Woodhenge. You can walk the Test/Clarendon Way or bike the Downs along county cycleways. Notable visits in the area might include Broadlands at Romsey or one of the several NT properties that lie within easy striking distance. The site is also a favourite as a stopover for a night or two en-route to the Isle of Wight, the West Country or France. Site shopOpen at the same times as Reception. The shop sells Aqua Kem and Rinse, Gas, rock pegs, milk and ice cream.

Information RoomOpen at the same times as Reception. Leaflets are available about the many attractions and places of interest that you can visit during your stay.

Mobile & public telephonesSignals are generally good, although mobile internet signals are of very poor quality. There is a public telephone located at Reception. Please note that this phone does not accept incoming calls.

Pitch carePlease lift awning ground sheets daily.

MotorhomesIf your pitch is left unoccupied, please leave your motorhome sign on display.

Vacating your pitchDeparture time from this site is 11.30am.

BarbecuesThese are generally allowed on site but open fires are not. Please consult site staff. Please keep barbecues off the grass.

TV receptionThe site will be digital from Feb/Mar 2012, however TV reception varies according to position on site.

Electric Hook-upThe costs of electricity are included in your pitch fee, but please help us minimise our effect on the environment by considering your electricity use while on site. Also any saving could help to reduce pitch fees or

Safety on Site

PetsPlease keep your dog on a lead at all times on the pitching areas and roads within the site, and clean up after them. Dogs can be walked adjacent to the site entrance.

Fire pointThe fire assembly point is on the grass in front of the toilet block. Audible alarms are provided at the points around the site.

Vehicles and cyclesParents are reminded that children remain their responsibility and therefore they should be supervised at all times, and to ensure that all members of their party follow the principles of road safety. Motor vehicles and bicycles on site should, at all times, be used with due regard to the safety and convenience of others and their speed should not exceed walking pace (5mph). No cycling is permitted on site between the hours of dusk and dawn, as determined by the Wardens. Any one-way system signs should be observed by all vehicles and cycles. Foot pedalled cycles, scooters and skateboards can be used, but are not allowed on the paved area around toilet blocks and communal areas and must not be ridden on footpaths. Please note that motorised mobility scooters are allowed on site, but children’s motorised scooters or skateboards are not.

VisitorsPlease ask your visitors to make themselves known at Reception when arriving at the site. If you are expecting visitors after hours, please meet them at Reception. Visitors parking is extremely limited.

Toilets and showersThe toilet block is closed for cleaning during the following times: 11.00am to 12.15pm. (an extra toilet is open during cleaning times only, located near to the Ladies). The disabled toilet and shower facilities are located in the toilet block.

LaundryPrices for the use of the laundry facilities are:Washing machine £3.00, Tumble drier 70p/cycle, Spin drier 60p/cycle. Washing sinks are also available. Please do not hang washing lines between trees or on the fences.

Recycling facilitiesMixed recycling is available at all service points.

Close by SupermarketsThere are Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets in Salisbury and Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco in Andover. All are about 9 miles from the site.
