Welcome to Photoshop Photoshop for Beginners 2019 1. Open Adobe Photoshop. If necessary, use Zenworks Application to install. 2. Navigate to web.library.uq.edu.au/library-services/training/training-resources 3. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Expand the “Photoshop” tab and click Images (Zip) to download exercise files. 4. Locate the downloaded .zip folder. 5. Right click on the .zip folder and select “Extract all...”, then “Extract”. 7. In Photoshop, use “File --> Open” and navigate to the new, unzipped folder. Select all images and “Open”. 8. In Photoshop, create a new file using “File --> New”. Navigate to the tab “Web” and select the preset “Web Large”, then select “Create”. 9. Save your new Photoshop Document using “File --> Save as...”, then name your document “Collage” and select “Save”. Click “ok” in the dialog box. Welcome to PhotoshopPhotoshop for Beginners 2019

1.Open Adobe Photoshop. If necessary, use Zenworks Application to install.

2.Navigate to web.library.uq.edu.au/library-services/training/training-resources

3.Scroll to the bottom of the page. Expand the “Photoshop” tab and click Images (Zip) to download exercise files.

4.Locate the downloaded .zip folder.

5.Right click on the .zip folder and select “Extract all...”, then “Extract”.

7.In Photoshop, use “File --> Open” and navigate to the new, unzipped folder. Select all images and “Open”.

8.In Photoshop, create a new file using “File --> New”. Navigate to the tab “Web” and select the preset “Web Large”, then select “Create”.

9.Save your new Photoshop Document using “File --> Save as...”, then name your document “Collage” and select “Save”. Click “ok” in the dialog box.

Pan (move around page) Hold [spacebar] or press [H] and click & drag

Zoom in to 100% - Double click [Zoom Tool] or [Ctrl] + [1]

Zoom in / out Hold [Alt] and scroll or hold [Ctrl] and press [+] or [-]

Fit whole image on screen - Double click [Hand Tool] or [Ctrl] + [0]
