• Heatley Secondary College is in the catchment of Louisa Creek. We work on Louisa Creek weekly.
STEP 2
• We need to make students aware of creek pollution in our school catchment area.
STEP 3
• We have school - based projects to reduce rubbish in our school

Rubbish thrown on the ground is one of the biggest killers of marine life, so please don’t throw your rubbish on the ground! Put it in the bin.

An atuopsy found that the whale’s stomach was tightly packed with plastic – almost six square metres of it! The whale had swallowed supermarket bags, food packaging, three large sheets of plastic two metres long and fragments of garbage bags.
