Event Hire is located at Jamaica Hall, Le Bouet, St Peter Port GY1 2AZ and is part of the Event Group which is regis-

tered as Event Services & Plant Limited, Events House, Braye Road, Vale, Guernsey GY3 5PB.

Hours of business are: Monday to Friday 09:00—17:30 and Saturday 09:00 to 12:00

Event Hire is a party hire and business mee"ng equipment supplier whose aim is to meet the demands of both the party and

the business market. With hundreds of items in stock that can be hired as part of a package or as individual units, Event Hire

can supply all of your needs under one roof. An online brochure is available for relaxed browsing and ordering from home or

in the office or you can visit our unique shop at Jamaica Hall which is open to customers who want to see demonstra"ons of

the hire stock and to discuss your requirements with our in-house technician.

Terms: All hire and services are rendered according to our Standard Terms of Business, a full copy of which is availa-

ble on our website and also printed on the reverse of all invoices. Here are some of the more per"nent:

Title to said equipment shall remain with Event Hire. Hirer has examined said equipment prior to signing this agree-

ment and agrees that the same is the correct equipment ordered by Hirer and is in good order, condi"on and repair.

The Hirer agrees to return said equipment to Event Hire (unless otherwise stated prior to the signing of agreement)

on or before 10.00am on the day aYer the end of the Hire Period in the same good order, condi"on and repair, and

to pay Event Hire the rental therein at the rate provided. The rental day shall commence on the day the equipment is

delivered/ collected to/by Hirer and shall con"nue un"l said equipment is returned. Hirer agrees to pay 1 addi"onal

days’ rental if said equipment is not returned before 10.00h.

All goods hired from Event Hire must be paid for in full on collec"on or delivery unless the hirer has a credit account

agreement with Event Services & Plant limited. A deposit will be required on all hires, refundable on the "mely and

proper return of the equipment.

Note that to keep our stock ‘fresh’ and up to date, some items of hire may differ to that described in our online and

printed brochures. You will be advised of this at the "me of hire, and can be assured that replacements or alterna-

"ves will be at least as good or suitable as the product illustrated. Colours may also vary from the catalogues.

Longer hires periods are available for all equipment: please ask for details.

A charge of £32.00 each way will be levied for all Event Hire deliveries and collec"ons of goods—NOTE delivery or

collec"on is door to door. If transporta"on inside the venue or assembling of kit not ready for collec"on is required

this will be chargeable and deducted from the deposit*

Most equipment is fairly simple to set up with colour coded cables and sockets and are easy to operate. The kits come with full instruc-

"ons and guidance notes although items marked are recommended to have one of our staff demonstrate or deliver and set up.

Equipment is heavy or large and may require a van to transport or delivery by Event Hire. Some large items or bulk

quan""es may be held at our Braye Road stores; you will be advised on booking.

Semi portable equipment can be easily collected and transported by car. Some items may weigh more than 20kgs.

If in doubt please ask. Loading assistance is available at Jamaica Hall

Equipment may/will require technical knowledge or Event staff to assist or set up; we’re here to help.

*Standard Delivery or Collec"on charge is £32 each way, however this can vary depending on loads and

"mes and any rigging involved. The good news is we some"mes waive the charge on large orders!
