Lisa joins the Board with over 19 years banking experience working in positions from Branch Manager to Sales Coach. Has lived in the area for over five years, is a member of the Mount Martha Yacht Club and also BERG. We also welcome Pauline Jacob to the Board. Pauline brings to the board over 20 years of environmental, community health, and government relations management experience, with a record of business performance improvement and a strong commitment to leadership within the constraints of a project delivery/operations environment and also holds a Masters of Science Degree from Griffith University in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology in Environmental Health. Magic moments.A partnership between Balcombe Grammar School and the Mount Martha Community Bank® Branch is funding two students to attend the 2016 Magic Moments Youth Leadership & Business Summit. Tara Treloar and Jasmine Attard (both 16 years old) succeeded in winning prized places to attend this five day residential camp in Sydney from 1-5 July. The annual Summit attracts youth from Australia and beyond for five days of amazing speakers, life lessons and knowledge shared to help young people make better choices, become outstanding communicators and role models and to develop leadership skills.

Many thanks.Barry Kirkpatrick, one of our Directors since day one of the Mount Martha Community Bank® Company has retired from the Board. Barry has been a tireless worker for the branch, leading our Marketing and Sponsorship activities during the early years, creating networks with the various clubs and businesses across Mount Martha and applying his unbounded energy to the task of building a successful Community Bank® branch. Barry is the last of the members of the Steering Committee that had the vision for our bank and the Board and branch staff thank him for all his work and wish him all the best.

Mount Martha Primary School.Kerry had the privilege of presenting a print By Josh Brnjac Photography as an item for the Mount Martha Primary School to auction off at their recent trivia night held at the Mount Martha Bowls club. Josh Brnjac was our Junior winner of our 2016 Calendar competition.

Portsea Youth leadership camp.As part of a joint sponsorship with seven other branches, Mount Martha Community Bank® Branch have helped to send 32 year 10 students from state secondary schools on the peninsula to attend this year’s Portsea Leadership Camp for three days. The camp was designed to equip the students with leadership skills to help the students toward a positive future.
