ENGLISH 9/9HAREA OF FOCUS
•English 9 is a transition year from language arts skills to true literary study. • Emphasis is placed on literary analysis, written and verbal expression, and preparing students for the Regents exam.
•The English Regents is given in 10th grade for honors level classes and 11th grade for Regents level classes
