BELGIAN BOOkBINDING WITH BETH LANCASTERThis beautiful and unusual stitching creates a hardback book that is sturdy yet stylish.

This advanced binding technique follows a two stage process, initially binding the covers together before sewing in a collection of signature pages.

As the spine is held by tension only, the book pages are able to move flexibly and allows the book to be opened wide, making it ideal for sketchbooks and journaling. This binding

technique is rarely taught and yet is so easy to learn with a little guidance. All materials are provided but attendees are encouraged to bring their own decorative

papers to include if they wish. The Rockfield Centre 11am-3pm. Suitable for adults over 16 years
