MT140 Course Overview
• Welcome to MT140! This course introduces you to management in the modern American organization.
• We’ll explore the environment in which management functions occur.
• We’ll look at and survey the specific functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling (POLC) as they apply to the workplace.
• Through a business case study, we’ll examine the concepts of team building, ethics, social diversity and communication.
