Curriculum
MBA Program – Total credits
Minimum of 14 courses and 31.5 credit hours Maximum of 16 courses and 39 credit hours Completion: min = 1.5 yrs & max = 6yrs
o Choose to go part-time or full-time. Average time should be about 2 years
Fully Onlineo Classes are 100% online. Typically students will
take 6 credits (the equivalent of two class) per term.
o There may be synchronized office hours.o You may be required to complete a supervised
exam.

What is an EMBA Program?
Accelerated Lock-step – Team Based Mature students Students that are working full-time Some residency requirements
Marquette’s EMBA Program Accelerated – 17 months to complete
o Classes start in August each year; graduation following December (Review courses begin in July and are held on-line)
o Hybrid format with classes meet every other Saturday. Lock-step – Cohort group begins in August and stays together on the same
internationally oriented curriculum for the entire program.o 15-25 students in each classo Teams of 4-6 students
Mature students – Average age of our students starting the program is 36 years old.
Students that are working full-time – Average 13-14 years of experience. Some residency requirements – Immersion week to start, International trip, &
mini-immersion in the final term. Technology –Blended format with tablet included.

GMAT/GRE Waiver Policy – in general For all GSM programs:
o You already earned a terminal degree (i.e., Ph.D, MD or JD).o You have a Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
For the all Marquette MBA programs:o Applicants that have less than 3 years of full-time business experience and have a 3.5 or higher
overall GPA/QPA and for those with 3 or more years of full-time experience the GPA/QPA requirement is 3.25 or higher from an accredited school with proof of quantitative course coverage.
o For Fall 2020 we have dropped this to 3.25 for less than 3 years of FT experience and 3.00 for 3 or more years of experience due to testing issues with the COVID 19 situation.
