– Only 1 person may be out of the room at a time.

– No passes in the first or last ten minutes of class.

Classroom Schedule• Bell work

– Begins during passing time and ends two minutes after the bell.• Reflect & Review

– Questions for the previous homework assignment begins promptly after bell work. 2 minutes are spent with a partner. 2 minutes are spent with the teacher and 1 minute from the question box.

• Class work• Question & Answer

– Begins 12 minutes from the end of class. You have 2 minutes to ask any questions regarding the day’s class work or the current homework/project.

• Story Time– The last five to ten minutes of class (except for Fridays) will be spent

listening to a story being read.• Silent Reading

– Every Friday you will be expected to read a novel of your choice for the last twenty minutes. You will not be allowed to go to the library during this time. You must have your book before silent reading time begins.
