COURSE PLANNING INFO• AP Info Session-• (Advanced Placement Program-
enrichment and acceleration which allows students to begin post secondary studies while still in secondary school.)
• Ms. Fraser/Ms. Henderson & Ms. Gibson will hold an AP info session for students who want to know more about the Capstone and Diploma Program.

Mrs. Johnson will have a GLS session for anyone interested in learning about Ceramics as an Elective

DURING COURSE PLANNING SEASON• For all Grade 8’s going into Grade 9 –
• Ms. Seymour is dealing with your transition. • Please - attend presentations, check the counselling website to review presentation
slides and look at the Course Planning Tab to see the Course Guide for info on going into Grade 9. See course descriptions and prerequisites in the guide.
• If you have further questions you can come into the Counselling Office to arrange to see Ms. Seymour.
• All Counsellors will be available in the Counselling office Feb. 8-13th to offer info on course planning.
• Load your courses into MyEd up to Feb. 13th – You must hand in your signed forms by Feb. 14th noon.
• There will be a session for anyone who had trouble with MyEd and needs help loading their courses - Flex time Tues. Feb. 12thF in the Main Library.
• The other Counsellors are dealing with other Grade Transitions:• Ms. Twemlow is dealing with 9 into 10 • Mrs. Docherty 10 into 11 • Ms. Kifiak 11 into 12

There are separate forms for ELL/ISP students. Please talk with Ms. McGivern who will go over the form and sign it for you.
If you have been in Learning Support this year, your Learning Support teacher must review your courses and sign your form for next year.

• You have given your Name, Address, Birthdate, & Home Phone number,
• Parents cell numbers, • Your Cell number,• and all contact emails
• Do you have your parents signature on the bottom?
• Make sure you have:• Filled out all 8 course choices for all 8
blocks- PLUS your Alternates!
• If your are in Resource –• You must have your Resource Teacher’s
signature
• Fill out a Medical Form and hand it in with your registration if you have a Medical condition
• You’ve entered all the course selections on MyEd and matched them to your form!
• POSTED your selections!
COURSE PLANNING INFO & APPOINTMENTS• Appointments:
• Parents can book to see Counsellors for 10 minute appointments on March 14th during Parent Teacher conferences.
• Counsellors will also be available after the course presentations - through April and May- to discuss course planning and schooling.
• Courses can be changed after Spring Break up to June. During June & July the schools schedule is being built so further changes must wait until the end of August or in the beginning of September.

MY ED BC – COURSE ENTRYTo enter your course selections, first select the ‘MyInfo’ tab at the top of the page then click on the ‘Requests’ tab on the left side.
MYED COURSE SELECTION ENTRY1. Change Password: from Student$35 to
a new password with 8 characters, a number, a capital letter, a lower case number, and one symbol
2. Select: MyInfo then Requests3. Read the homepage4. Make course selections: click on Select
then choose your course by clicking on the check box
5. Add your alternates using the drop down menu to the right
6. Confirm your selections by clicking on the POST button in the bottom left of the screen.
7. A green message will appear when your courses have been posted
