6.) Question & Answer Panel (3:45pm-4:00pm)
Turn & Talk (10 minutes) - your teacher will assign you to a breakout room to have a discussion with a classmate.Topic of Discussion: If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what rule would you make and why?
*Remember to be respectful and allow your classmates to voice their opinions.*Note: If you have any questions you may “Call for assistance” using the Zoom App and i will visit your breakout room to help spark a discussion! :D

Tito Puente (4/20/1923 - 5/31/2000) - Born on April 20th, 1923, in New York City, he was nicknamed the, “King of Latin Jazz.” He served in the military during World War II & returned to the U.S. to attend New York City’s famous Juilliard School of Arts. Over his 50 year career he
won many awards, influenced jazz music, and served as an inspiration to many people!
Next, We will be
watching a short clip about the
life of Tito Puente, a famous
Latin jazz musician from New York City!

2.) IXL Daily Exit SlipsComplete each time you finish your 30 minutes of IXL. Submit on Fridays via the school website.
3.) Gizmos (as listed)The Gizmos that relate to your current lesson can be found on your class webpage via the BPA website.

Enrichment Activities (OPTIONAL):1.) Code.org Modules/ActivitiesProvides students with an opportunity to explore computer programming through critical thinking components and skills-based activities.
2.) Info & Activities PacketsInclude activities based on the included information that students can complete as further enrichment. Some require additional research. All relate to the current month - April. PDFs on website!
3.) Genius Hour ProjectProvides students with an opportunity to explore topics of interest by conducting research and developing/answering questions.
