Promotion Sunday is TODAY Nursery Worker Training
Sunday, September 6 9:30 - 10 am, in the Nursery
Because we believe that our volunteers are the greatest, because we believe young children can, and do learn about God, because we want to help our children and our workers have a positive experience in the Nursery... We will be offering quarterly 30 minute training sessions for all new volunteers, or those who are currently serving that would like more insight into our youngest congregation. Wanna Be Wednesdays
Beginning Wednesday, September 9
from 6:30 to 7:30 pm For children 1st - 6th grade. Children will be split into 2 age groups for a rotational evening of Scripture memory games in the FLC and their choice of Bible Quizzing or a monthly Life Skill activity such as photography; pet care; sign language and more! Bible Quizzing Kick-Off Party and Lesson One
Sunday, August 30 2:00-4:00pm
At Jay & Jeanette Martinson’s House. Directions will be handed out. Bring quiz book, Bible, swim suit and towel. May bring baseball bat and glove if interested and bug spray.

Sunday Funday—TODAY! Contact Pastor Brandon for details. Student Ministry Parent Meeting Pastor Brandon will be holding an informational meeting in the youth room on August 30th from 6:00-7:30p. The meeting will include discussion about the upcoming year including: event dates, focus, small group information and distribution of the fall student ministry calendar. Plan to be in attendance!
Class Clash. With the reigning champions off to college, the trophy and associated bragging rights are up for grabs in this year’s Class Clash! This year’s event will take place Sunday, September 13th at the church from 6:00-8:00p. This is a senior high-only event. Class colors are red for freshmen, blue for sophomores, green for juniors, and orange for seniors. This is an ideal event for inviting a friend or two!
Guys’ Campout. The annual guys’ campout is right around the corner! The cost is again $40 to attend, and the campout will take place September 18th-20th on Jay & Jeanette Martinson’s property. Guys must register by September 9th.
The Amazing Race Girls’ Weekend This year’s girls’ weekend will take place September 19th-20th. You won’t want to miss out on a mini-weekend of The Amazing Race-inspired fun! The cost for the weekend is $30. Everything will be local. Register by September 9th.
Life Groups Life Groups for the 2015-16 school year will begin on Sunday, September 27th. Stay tuned for more information on the location for your group!
Starting September 1st, 2015, our Tuesday Prayer Meeting will be meeting at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary.

Anthony and Barbara Manswell are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene assigned to Caribbean Nazarene College located in Trinidad, serving the English speaking Caribbean, since January 2003. They will be sharing with us on Wednesday, September 2, 6:30pm.
