EPC World Awards ITNL for Outstanding Contribution in Roads & Highways

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd was titled with the 3rd EPC World Awards for the outstanding contribution in roads and highways. Ashutosh Chandwar, Vice President of IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd ((ITNL) received the award on behalf of the company at 3rd EPC World Awards function held at Hotel The Ashok on December 15 2012 .  The award was presented by an esteemed array of dignitaries involving Shri Harish Chandra Singh Rawat (Union Cabinet Minister for Water Resources), Shri Balbir Punj (Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha), Dr Sudhir Krishna (Secretary to the Government of India-Ministry of Urban Development) and Shri Amitabh Kant (CEO& MD-Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Ltd). The awardees were decided on the methodology prepared by the event’s Knowledge Partner Ernst & Young. The function was sponsored by Supreme Infrastructure and the trophies were sponsored by Universal Construction Machinery. ITNL is a developer, operator and facilitator of surface transportation infrastructure projects, taking projects from conceptualization through commissioning to operations and maintenance; and is also one amongst the largest private sector BOT road operators in India.

Kalindee Honored with EPC World Award for Exceptional Rail Expertise

The 3rd EPC World Awards crowned the operational expertise of Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) Ltd for its dedicated contribution towards the construction of railways under the EPC segment. Kalindee Rail Nirman’s Chairman and Managing Director, RD Sharma received the award from a distinguished array of dignitaries involving Shri Harish Chandra Singh Rawat (Union Cabinet Minister for Water Resources), Shri Balbir Punj (Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha), Dr Sudhir Krishna (Secretary to the Government of India-Ministry of Urban Development) and Shri Amitabh Kant (CEO& MD-Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Ltd).Kalindee since its inception in 1976 has dedicated itself to build infrastructure for rail transport under one roof on turnkey basis. The company has been active in the fields of signaling, telecommunications, track and information systems.

The awardees were decided on the methodology prepared by the event’s Knowledge Partner Ernst & Young. The 3rd EPC World Awards was held at Hotel The Ashok in New Delhi on December 15, where4in Supreme Infrastructure sponsored the event and Universal Construction Machinery sponsored the trophies presented.

L&T Bags EPC World Infra Company of the Year Award

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), India’s leading technology, engineering and construction company was named the Infrastructure Company of the Year at the EPC World Awards 2012 held at Hotel the Ashok, New Delhi. The award was presented by dignitaries Shri Harish Chandra Singh Rawat (Union Cabinet Minister for Water Resources), Shri Balbir Punj (Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha), Dr Sudhir Krishna (Secretary to the Government of India-Ministry of Urban Development) and Shri Amitabh Kant (CEO& MD-Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Ltd). N.K. Puri, JGM and Head – Heavy & Light Factories, L&T received the award on behalf of the company.

Every year EPC World Awards recognizes and honours the unique commitments of industrial stalwarts involved in the infra-construction segment. L&T was honoured for its strong, customer-focused approach and continuous quest for building world-class sustainable infrastructure.
