The entire handle is covered with sparkling metal studs which lend the range a totally distinctive look. The texture, contrast and tactile nature of the design gives it an irresistible appeal creating a beautiful

texture that adds dimension to the collection. Inspired by natural elements, the sparkling studs are reminiscent of the unique patterning of the sea urchin found in marine life, the ocean has gently

presented her treasures to us.

The Crystal d'Afrique range perfectly blends the strength of stainless steel, the soft glow of lead-free pewter and the sparkle of a genuine Swarovski crystal. Inspiration for this sophisticated, functional range is taken from the naked stem

of an African Aloe after the flowers have fallen. This is portrayed in the handle, by using different surface textures with unique detail hand-finishing. The tip of each piece is detailed

with the crystalline brilliance of a Swarovski™ crystal, representing a perfect droplet of African dew.

Native to Africa, the Ostrich has inspired cultures and civilizations for over 5000 years. In Ancient Egypt, the Ostrich had great spiritual and religious significance.

Ostrich feathers were associated with the deity of truth and justice, the lightness of the feather being a symbol of truth. The Kung bushmen of Africa revered the Ostrich, and imbued it with

powers when they performed ritual dances. Indigenous people of the Kalahari still use Ostrich eggs as water jugs.

The fastest mammal on earth is immortalized in this striking range. Beautifully rendered in a highly polished finish, the pewter handles of this range feature exquisitely crafted cheetahs in various poses to suit the different utensils.

Echoing the magnificent outstretched physique of this gracious cat in full 'flight', the Cheetah Africa range is as tactile in the

hand as it is pleasing to the eye.

Inspired by the African Antelope, this sophisticated and functional range of tableware features a highly polished Spring-bok horn as the handle. Each ebony horn coloured handle is unique, showing slight variations in colour and shape.

Ribbon represents the winding of a vine around a tree as it stretches from the forest floor upward towards the light of the African sun.

These hand-finished pieces require a minimum amount of care to keep them in their original state. Hand-wash in hot, soapy water when necessary, then rinse in clean water and dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Do not wash in a dishwasher as this will cause the piece to become dull and grey.It is recommended to use a non-abrasive material to avoid scratching the piece, leaving it dull and grey If neglected, pewter takes on a patina. but cleaning as indicated above, or with a chamois, will restore the glow.

Finger marks can be removed with methylated spirits if necessary. Cared for properly, your Diana Carmichael piece will last for generations
