School Hours Absences Excessive Absenteeism/Truancy/Chronic Truancy

M, T, Th, F = 9:05-3:35 (Tardy Bell 9:05)
W = 9:15-3:35 (Tardy Bell 9:15)
— Enter @ 8:50-9:00 (M,T,TH,F)
— Enter @ 9:00-9:10 (W)
— Parent/Guardians must report to the main office with their student to sign them
in if tardy.
Absences
— Absences of 5 or more consecutive days will require a physician note in order
to return to school.
— Parents must call the main office for absences (630-375-3400 (press 3).
Excessive Absenteeism/Truancy
— Absenteeism significantly interferes with students learning, as reflected in
academic performance or social development and/or is more than 5% (2 days)
per quarter of the days in session.
— A letter will be sent to the parent/guardian if exceeding the 5% for tardies
and/or absences.
— Our Truancy Team will work with families to improve absences.

Please refrain from using your cell phone while in a school zone.
If you are driving children, all passengers must be wearing a seatbelt or buckled into a child safety seat.
Please follow the posted speed limit and school staff members directing traffic.

Updated Mathematics Curriculum
• Throughout the 2011-12 school year, a District 204
committee met to update the current curriculum to fit
the new standards. These standards are being
implemented this year.
• The Profile of Progress that is received quarterly with
report cards has been updated to align with these new
