Colored Subject FoldersThis year we are using 4 different colored 3-Subject w/pockets
Spiral Notebooks. We will be using them to take notes, write
examples and practice what we have learned in class.
– Reading (Red) Separated into Reading, Grammar, and Word Study
– Math (Blue) Separated into Definitions/Examples, Practice, and Problem Solving Strategies
– Science /Health (Green)– Geography/Soc. Studies (Black)
Student Homework Agenda– Each student should have their own homework agenda/calendar.
The website also has the weekly assignments and any current book report or project information.

Homework
Math: one - two practice pages Mon. – Thurs. Spelling: Monday-Thursday (Spelling Choices) Reading-20 minutes each night, with 5 of those
minutes out loud for fluency Quarterly book reports based on different genres
and literary elements Grammar and Vocabulary – twice a week Additional homework/ projects can be expected
occasionally along with social studies or health Please email or send a note if your child is unable
to complete their homework assignments
