ILLUSTRATION AND PRODUCT SUPPORTYour Crump/Allstate Sales Wholesaler: Your dedicated sales wholesaler is available to assist you with how to best use the program and in designing your more complex cases. Your wholesaler is your “roadmap” to the Crump/Allstate program.

Pre-Sale Support: Your Crump/Allstate team provides sales illustrations and comprehensive sales support on all of your Life, Disability (DI) and Long Term Care (LTC) business with Crump/Allstate. They are able to handle a full range of case design scenarios, including side by side product comparisons, product information, and forms needed to write business, as well as provide assistance on your more complex cases that require detailed illustrations and carrier/product research.

Please remember to follow the rules of engagement for life insurance business as outlined below:• Simplified Issue Term (see Crump Transaction Center training video)• Customers 70+ age• All customers rated Substandard by Allstate• Joint Survivorship• Term Conversion • Large Case Exception• Impaired Risk Cases (see File Transfer Guidelines)

SUBMITTING CASES & APPLICATION PROCESSINGAll applications should be sent to the Crump/Allstate team for processing. Please submit the completed applications, associated forms/disclosures, supporting documents and any premium remitted to:

For all case submissions, in order to minimize delays, please ensure that the following items are accomplished when the application is taken:• Verify that your carrier contracting is complete.• Complete all questions on the application.• Provide details to any questions answered “yes” on the application.• Make sure the application and all accompanying forms have been signed. The application must be

signed and dated by the proposed insured, policyowner (if trust, then trustees should sign), and the agent.

• Include NAIC compliant illustrations and/or disclosure forms (signed by the policyowner) with the application.

• Order exam requirements through a carrier approved medical examiner.

Email your Crump/Allstate case manager (see contact directory on page 6) with any pre-submission questions or for case status.

LIFE APPLICATIONSFully Underwritten Solutions: we encourage eletronic submission via eApp via the Crump Transaction Center, ensuring in good order app submissions and reduced processing times (by as much as 14 days) Simplified Issue Term Solutions: All apps MUST be submitted via the Crump Transaction Center to United of Omaha’s Term Express product through the eApp function.



New Business ProcessingThe Client Services team tracks all applications and related premiums. Upon receipt, all applications are immediately assigned to a case manager for processing and tracking. Your Crump/Allstate case manager inputs your customer’s information/data and begins the preliminary underwriting process (the same day). For all cases, a confirmation letter stating that the case was received along with the requirements received/ordered will be sent to you.

As your Crump/Allstate case manager tracks your pending applications through policy issue, you will be kept informed of the progress through Pending Status Reports sent by e-mail, fax, or mail, depending on the method you choose. We encourage you to check your case status on the Allstate/Crump web site. After the application has been approved, your Crump/Allstate case manager will continue to track the case until the delivery requirements are received. From there, your Crump/Allstate case manager will confirm with the carrier that the customer’s policy is “in-force” and work with the carrier on the release of the compensation. Underwriting Support for Life CasesThe Crump Underwriters have the knowledge and skill needed to assist with your toughest cases. We will work with you from receipt of the informal inquiry through policy issue. Our carrier relationships allow us to negotiate on your behalf based on your customer’s situation. In addition, we can look at your cases from many angles resulting in aggressive underwriting offers for your customers.

FormsYou can find the forms you need through the comprehensive Forms tool located in the Transaction Center on the Crump/Allstate web site. Applications should be completed with any required replacement forms, 1035 Exchange forms, HIV forms, disclosure forms, and avocation questionnaires.

Insurance Carrier Contracting and AppointmentsMany insurance companies have a adopted a “Just in Time” appointment approach whereby they require the submission of a new business application prior to appointing an agent. Crump’s Contracting tool available through our digital transaction center allows you to quickly submit appointment requeststo one or multiple life insurance companies via Crump. Some insurance companies do require an appointment be in place prior to solicitation of an application or what is referred to as a “restricted state” and information on those can be found in Tools>Pre-Appointments on the Crump website.

A current life insurance license in the state(s) in which you wish to do business is required prior to solicitation of an application. Many states require continuing education requirements for the sale of long term care and annuity products prior to solicitation as well.
