Welcome to Covenant Community Church! We’re glad you’ve chosen to

worship with us this morning. If you’re a visitor or if you’d like to know

more about our church, please write your contact information in the

attendance log when it’s passed around. If you have children between

the ages of 5 and 6th grade (GodSquad), they will be invited to their class

downstairs about 20 minutes into the service. Our nursery is available for

Community Connect-Weekly Focus

2ND SUNDAY LUNCH: Today’s 2nd Sunday lunch is a potluck. Congregants should bring a main dish, salad, OR dessert that will feed 12 people.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: There will be a Congregational Meeting on July 24, immediately following worship.

MEN’S BREAKFAST: Due to vacations this month, the Men’s Breakfast sched-uled for July 16th is being cancelled. We will resume our regular breakfast schedule on August 20th.

OUTREACH MINISTRY: As most of you know, our church is making handmade baby cards to give to all new mothers at Mercy Hospital. We had out first card-making session a couple of weeks ago and made 60 baby cards! We are ready for our second session! We will meet in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, July 25 from 6:30-8:00pm. Ladies of all ages are welcome. You don’t need any special skills—if you have legible handwriting and/or can use a glue stick, you will be ale to help. See Nancy Addler or Patrice McCracken if you have any questions.

WE CARE FAIR: We Care Fair is just around the corner and we needs lots of help to make it successful! Sign up at the Welcome Center if you can volunteer to be here 9am-1pm-ish on August 13.

Education Supply Room(bottom of stairs in Fellowship Hall): Our supply room needs your help. The counter has become a dropping off place for all sorts of items. If you have something that you wish to donate to us that is great. We are asking that you let us know, with a note along with the items, that you are either donating or loaning the items to us, please also give us your name. All too often we find items left on the counter and we have no idea what we are supposed to do with them. Are you donating them or loaning them to us? Do you want them back if we can’t use them? Did you leave them there by mis-take? As stated before please leave your name with the items.

Using items: Also, if you have used some of the supplies in the room and did not need all of them, please return to the correct shelf or bin.

Thanks for helping us keep the room in order.

GIVING UPDATE FOR JUNE: Giving for the month of June totaled $31,681, which is $11,101 lower than June 2015 and $6,149 lower than budget for June 2016. On a year-to-date basis, giving totals $246,112, which is $7,556 lower than 2015 and $19,134 higher than budget for 2016.
