Dear Hospitality Student:

We are proud to present to you the Chicago Club Managers Foundation and Greater Chicago Club Managers Association

Student Scholarship Application. We are excited that you have chosen to apply as we feel you have made a fine decision in

experiencing employment within the Club Industry and specifically the Chicago Area.

The purpose of our scholarship is to support students enrolled in a qualified Hospitality Program pursuing a career in Club

Management. Many of our past scholarship recipients have gone on to enjoy careers within the Club Industry. We hope

that we can help you continue your pursuit.

It is important that you fill out the entire application and follow up with your recommendation forms. Please keep the

following timetable of key dates in mind.

Now Begin obtaining All Recommendation Forms

July 14 Deadline for applications and Recommendation Forms

July 23 Interviews for applicants at The Union League Club, 65 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60604

August 6 Scholarship Awards Presentation and Reception, Barrington Hills Country Club,

300 W. Country Line Road, Barrington, IL 60010

Along with your completed application, we ask that you include your college transcript, a current resume and an

essay of no more than 700 words telling us the following:

Your interest in the Private Club Industry.

The Millennial generation has been viewed as a potential major consumer of private club memberships in the near

future. What will Clubs need to do in order to attract this demographic and retain them as members of America’s

private clubs? How would you merge the generation gap to a unified membership?

What are your career goals after graduation?

How would a scholarship impact your financial situation towards your education?

Please do not hesitate to ask questions of your Club Manager Sponsor or one of our committee members. We are happy

to help you in any way possible.

Best of Luck,
