Course Requirements
•Reading – absolutely imperative!!!!
•Reading pairs – read and teach
•Research – 1 group project – major grades; finding current events
Class Grades•50% major, 50% daily•Major grades include tests, FRQ’s, and the 1 project
•Tests – 45-50 question MC•FRQ’s – timed (25 min.); 3-4 will combine for 1 major grade
More Grades
•Daily – chapter quizzes, test corrections, dialectical journals
•Pop quizzes – from Woll articles
•Semester avg. – each 9 wk. grade = 40%; Final = 20%
Expectations
•Take notes! Do the reading!•Be ready to begin when bell rings!
•Be here, on time!•Make arrangements for make-up work when absent!
Supplies
•Dialectical journals – spiral or folder where you will take notes over the Woll articles
•Bring Woll reader to class w/ you when we’re discussing an article
•#2 pencil for exam days
