ERWC (Expository Reading and Writing Course) is the Senior English Course Necessary to take if you score: Conditional, Not Yet Ready, or Not Ready on your English EAP and you Want to attend a CSU. If you enroll in ERWC and earn at least a C in both semesters, you will not have to take the English placement test or CSU summer preparation course.

MathIf you earn Conditional, Not Yet Ready, or Not Ready on the Math portion of the EAP, then you must take the CSU or community college Mathematics placement test, and possibly a summer bridge course prescribed by the college system.

The PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT, and even the ACT, but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships. More than 3.4 million high school students
