Welcome current members, new players & parents to the 2020 season.

You will find most of the information you need in this document. If you have any questions please contact our

friendly team of volunteer committee members, whom can assist you with your enquiries.

We have a big season planned for 2020, of which is our 50th year. We encourage you to learn more about the

club over at www.wyomingfc.com.au where there is a complete library in our history section.

As a organisation that requires volunteers to function we are always looking for assistance. We have a number

of committee positions still available, but there is also an opportunity to join the support committee whom

assist the club on an ad-hoc basis. Contact our club Secretary Scott Lester if you are able to assist in any way.

As commitment to our juniors in 2020, all players 5 to 18 years will receive a free training shirt as part of their

fully paid registration.

Registration Process

On-line Registration for the 2020 season opens January 13 2020. Some important information is below;

How to Register ? This applies for players, coaches managers, club volunteers!

It is all done online via the following link from Jan 13 when we open our registrations.

New members will need to create an account, existing members can login with the email address used last year

Note: ALL coaches, managers & volunteers need to complete & obtain their Working with Children Check

(WWCC) if they wish to be involved in 2020. No exceptions!

Photos: Please have a passport sized photo (head-shot SELFIE) of your child/yourself on the device you will be using to complete

your registrations. All players 8 years and over require a current photo for the 2020 season. This includes new coaches,

managers & club volunteers.

Proof of Age: All players who have not previously been registered with the FFA have to provide Identification (birth certificate or

Drivers License). Please take a photo or scan the document and send to the club Registrar (registrar@wyomingfc.com.au) as

registration will not be approved until such time as we have the appropriate identification.

Discounts

Family discounts as per previous years are catered for.

The 10 Year + discount requires a coupon code at the final screen of the rego- Enter WYOMING10YR to claim your $10 discount.

Life Members can enter WYOMINGLIFEMBR to claim their discount.

We have access to playing records so only those with that level of service will be approved

We will have the following face to face registration days available where CASH & EFTPOS payments can be taken & any

questions can be answered.

Laptops will be available on the day for you to self-register. Our committee CANNOT register on your behalf under the

current registration system.

NOTE: All players aged 5 to 18 will receive a FREE TRAINING shirt valued at $35 with their fully paid

registration.

FAQsUnder 18s - Active Kids Rebate

Please remember that all under 18s attending school are eligible for the $100 ACTIVE KIDS rebate and the rebate needs to be applied for

BEFORE you register your child. Please go to www.service.nsw.gov.au/active-kids to apply or renew your Active Kids Voucher.

Age groups

Age divisions are determined by calendar year. So if your child turns 5 during 2020, your child will be in the Under 5s. If your child turns 6 in

January 2020, they will be in Under 6s for the 2020 season & so-on. Any request to play for a higher aged team will need to be approved by the

Football Committee.

When Do I Train & Play?

Under 5’s through 8’s (Non-Comp) Training

WFC provides group training as part of a FREE football program called ABC Junior Football that is administered by

Kevin Best O.A.M and qualified mini-roos coaches. Parents who coach sides are welcome to come and participate in the training.

ABC Junior Football Training: Alan Davidson Park, Renwick St, Wyoming

Tuesday 4-5pm: Under 5s

Tuesday 5-6pm: Under 7s

Thursday 4-5pm: Under 6s

Thursday 5-6pm: Under 8s

U9s through Seniors Training (Alan Davidson Tues/Thurs/ Maidens Brush Tuesdays only)

Training times scheduled by the Football Committee in conjunction with coaches and occur either Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on

space available.

PLAYING

U5s through to U16s incl mixed play Saturdays.

Over 35’s & 45’s play Saturdays.

All Girls only & Women’s teams play Sundays.

M18’s, BPL and Men’s All Age play Sundays.

FAQs

Grading Process / Team Selection

Under 5s to Under 7s

Teams will be selected/grouped from short games played at Chertsey Primary School. Refer to event at the end of this guide for grouping days.

Please note, these teams are not graded. If you would like your child to be in a specific team, please email our Junior Representative

Under 8s to Under 14s mixed, Under 15s, Under 16s & Under 18s boys

Teams are graded & selected from these grading days. Refer to event schedule for grading/muster days. Our football committee and grading panel will

conduct skills sessions and small sided games to determine which side your child will be placed in based on their ability.

Girls / Women’s Sunday Comps

Grading sessions at Narara Valley High Oval. Christine Muldoon is the girls/women’s rep.

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING FOOTBALL GEAR – BOOTS, SHIN PADS ETC AND PLENTY OF WATER TO

GROUPING/GRADING DAYS.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a request in which team you/your child wishes to play for, please advise your age rep in writing prior to team

selection. No guarantees can be made, but we will try and meet player/parents wishes where possible.

TRAINING SHIRT COLLECTION / APPAREL SALES SAT FEB 22

SAT 22nd Feb, Guide Hall, Day St, Wyoming.

• Collect your kids training shirt

• New players will need to purchase club shorts & socks to participate in the 2020 season. There will also be an opportunity to purchase

hoody’s/jackets (limited sizes available) or place an order

• Any players requiring replacement or extra apparel can purchase on this day.
