General EOG Information

Dates-May 20 and May 21st

EOG will consist of 1 day of reading and 1 day of math (calculator active and calculator inactive).

It is VERY important that your child arrives to school on time these days. ALL EOGs will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Please make sure your child is well rested, eats a good breakfast, and is on time to school each day this week.

Part 1 (35 minutes)Before writing and delivering a speech

about eating locally-grown foods, students will read two articles and watch a video, taking notes on these sources. They will then respond to several questions addressing the research skills of analyzing and evaluating information.

(Total Task Time = 105 total minutes)

Part 2 (70 minutes)Students will work individually

to compose and orally deliver a short speech about eating locally grown foods, referring to details from the video or the texts. Students will present the speech aloud. Students may also present supplemental materials they create to enhance their presentation.
