We invite you to join us for the 2020 Community Housing Conference. The conference theme is ‘Community. Opportunity. Growth which highlights the community housing sector’s ambitions to provide safe and affordable housing to more individuals and families in NSW. The conference will also focus on the opportunity for the sector to partner with Government and others to deliver better outcomes for people in housing need.

Over the two days, housing professionals from the private, not for profit and government sectors will come together to share expertise and find out about the latest news in the industry. The 2018 Affordable Housing Conference included:

• Over 400 delegates• 120+ speakers• 31 conference sessions• Dedicated 10 hours of networking

The event will be marketed through multiple channels including an e-marketing campaign to over 600 subscribers on our conference mailing list. The campaign also includes exposure at all CHIA NSW’s member networks, seminars, workshops and other professional engagement events. As the industry body for community housing providers in NSW we are uniquely placed in our ability to get your brand in front of the sector.

Delegates at the conference will hear from industry experts from Australia and overseas. We will cover the full spectrum of development, finance, housing policy reform and best practice tenancy management. We will be announcing our speakers over the coming months.

Host AssociationCommunity Housing Industry Association NSW (CHIA NSW) is the peak industry group for community housing in NSW. We represent over 100 members that collectively manage more than 50,000 properties – the largest community housing industry sector in Australia.

CHIA NSW works to build a sustainable and flourishing industry able to deliver the best outcomes for the tenants and communities it works with. We also advocate with local, state and federal governments for more social and affordable housing for people on lower incomes in NSW.

CHIA NSW is affiliated to the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA), the national peak body that represents the industry in Australia, and we work with community housing peak bodies in other jurisdictions to collectively support the industry to grow and operate effectively.
