Dr. Rohrer

Professor and Director, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology

Director of University Oral Pathology Laboratories, and Director of the Hard Tissue Research LaboratoryAuthored/co-authored over 85 publicationsPrimarily research in the histologic and

histomorphometric evaluation of bone, bone implants, bone grafting materials, and bone enhancing strategies.

Dr. Grimes

Research interest in the structure and assembly of the Bacillus subtilis bacteriophage phi29.

Recent emphasis on determining the molecular mechanism of DNA packaging and the role of a novel multimeric packaging RNA in this process.

The lab employs an integrated multi-disiplinary approach including genetic, biochemical, and biophysical techniques, such as cryo-EM and single molecule studies with laser tweezers, to address the mysteries of the structure and assembly of this virus.

possible meeting with them and then asking it possible to research in their lab
