The Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance is the agency designated as the official Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Genesee County. The Metropolitan Alliance is responsible for carrying out the federal transportation planning process in Genesee County. The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission GCMPC serves as staff to the MPO.

• Costs approximately $2.5 million to reconstruct a bridge

• Roughly $1.5 billion needed for bridge improvements through 2035

(5% compounding annual interest included for anticipated cost increases)
