    Continuing Education CreditsCourse Description The two-day conference will focus on challenges facing the resolution community today, and the challenges on the horizon. Panel discussions include future trends in Long Term Care, Covered Agreements, Risk-Based Financial Analysis, the Future of Private Flood Insurance, Ethics and much more.

    Course Level This program is intended for intermediate and advanced level insurance receivers, regulators, guaranty fund personnel, and other insurance insolvency professionals. There are no advance preparations or prerequisites required as this workshop will provide live delivery of materials and updates building on the knowledge and experience of each participant.

    IAIR Designations This workshop is approved for continuing education credit toward IAIR’s CIR and AIR designations in accordance with IAIR’s continuing education policy to maintain certification status. Total credit hours 9.5.

    NASBA The International Association of Insurance Receivers (IAIR) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional eduction on the National Registry of CPE sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE sponsors through its website: www.nabsaregistry.org. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 11.2 CPE credit hours will be granted based on a 50-minute hour.

    CLE The State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement. This activity may qualify for up to 9.5 hours toward your annual CLE requirement for the State Bar of Arizona, including 1 hour of professional responsibility. The program has been submitted for certification to Missouri for general and ethics credit. Though the program and workshop may qualify for continuing legal education credit in other states, participants will need to make their own filings. Upon request, IAIR can certify attendance and content.

    IAIR’s reduced group room rate of $219.00 per night plus applicable tax (currently 13.17%) will be available until 5:00pm on Sunday January 7, 2018, or until the group block is sold out, whichever occurs first.

To make an online reservation, after clicking and opening the link you’ll want to click “complete reservation”. The group rate will be offered three days prior and three days after the workshop, based on availability. All reservation requests need to be accompanied by at least one night’s room and tax deposit, or guaranteed by a major credit card for the reservation to be processed and confirmed. In order to be able to access the ancillary services of the Resort, each guest will be required to present a valid credit card upon check-in on which an amount of sufficient pre-authorization can be obtained to cover the anticipated use of Resort’s ancillary services.

    Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Guests arriving prior to 3pm will be assigned accommodations as they become available. Please note that neither IAIR nor The Scottsdale Plaza Resort will contact you directly to make reservations. IAIR also does not utilize any third party companies for hotel reservations.
