What’s On My Plate?
Welcome!Hi! My name is Mr. Tomato, and these are my friends Ms. Lettuce, Mr. Broccoli and Ms. Carrot. We will be your tour guides through out this delicious adventure!
Before we begin, there are a few things we need to go over. At the bottom of each slide you will
find arrows and a main menu button. Click on these to navigate through the lesson.
When ever you see me, or any of my friends, make sure to look at what we are saying. We are here to help!

ObjectivesToday we will be learning about what kind of food groups exist and why. As well as some other healthy habits that go hand-in-hand with eating right.

1) Given a blank food pyramid and a word bank, students will be able to label each section within 3 attempts.
2) Given a matching activity, student will be able to match pictures of foods to each category from the food pyramid within 3 attempts.
3) Given a plate containing four food groups, students will be able to write four sentences about each foods nutritional value, without grammatical error. Click on the play button to
