• In the autumn of 2013 alone, we had over 2,000 careers consultations, 25% for first years

• More than 100 employers on campus, with thousands of graduate and placement vacancies

• 1852 Inns of Court School of Law founded – now part of City Law School

• 1877 St Bartholomew’s College of Nursing founded – now part of School of Health Sciences

• 1894 Northampton Institute founded by City of London livery companies:• many original subjects still offered

• 1909 BSc offered

• 1927 One of the first to educate Optometrists

• 1966 City University London received Royal Charter

• 2002 Sir John Cass Business School endowed by former Lord Mayor of London Sir John Cass

• Strong links with City of London maintained through The Lord Mayor of London being the Chancellor of the University
