• Rule of Thumb: if 100% of proceeds go to CF, then

you can fundraise this way

• Point of Sale Fundraising: Store pinups, collection

containers, roundups, etc. at the cash register of a retail

establishment or placement of an option that allows a

contribution at online checkout is acceptable, the

business here is acting as a volunteer fundraiser for the

Foundation.

Fundraising Reminders

• Prohibited Fundraising: the below are examples of

prohibited fundraising activities:

○ Percentage of sales campaigns

○ Games of chance

○ Raffles, opportunity drawings, sweepstakes, door

prizes

○ Poker, casino games, 50/50, bingo, lotteries

• Questions: If you want to know if you event or initiative
